Well its nothing like what locals would call the 'outside' or in other words the lower 48. Amazing, but how can a 7 letter word even begin to describe this last frontier? Its everything i thought it would be and then some..... Forget the cities, Anchorage and fairbanks are dull slow paced sprawling flat nothingness with no real heart to the cities and just rows of mcdonalds starbucks myers sears and safeways ....with large roads connecting them all. very dull, also the average age seems about 40+ so we got our chevy and with no plans or idea of what to expect we hit that great alaskan highway. 9:04 a.m. - 2006-09-23 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
